Titan Forge Painting Contest - February

Hi everyone, It's been a while since I made a post here on my blog. It's not that I have been lazy or anything but I just ended up with so many exciting projects that I decided to finish the projects and then blog about them afterwards :)

In this post I'll say a bit about the Titan Forge Painting contest. Last month I participated with a very experimental project featuring, sound, smoke and lights. This month I decided to go old school. In this project I have primarily made a really classic diorama with foam, flock and terrain. There are a small light effect and a homemade DIY generator but I still managed to keep the special effects at a low. I Have made a video to display the effects:

The diorama is build using foam, flock, glue and so on. The forge and larger details are printed on a Ender 3 Pro and the figures are made on a Anycubic Photon.

The small animals, ducks, and squirrels are printed on the ender as I had a small problem with them each time I tried to print them on my photon. This was actually rather strange as I almost never have any misprints. Anyway I ended up loading Tom Tullis (Fat Dragon Games) profile and printed them on the ender with a very nice result.I really enjoyed making this piece as I was a bit out of my comfort zone. Actually managed to "level up" in several skills I might have neglected in the past. I could have used a week more on touching up the diorama. Really like to add small details as they give the piece life and tell a story.

Well anyway thanks to Titan Forge for the great model and thanks for hosting the contest. Titan Forge: https://www.facebook.com/groups/428433258090295/

Hope you all like the entry.

Here's a short backstory: Not all dwarfs prefer to work underground, this master smith has moved his forge to a nice and quiet place in the woods by a small lake. The two adventures on the hill have finally found him after a long search.(I'll let the diorama and you own imagination tell the rest of the story)
