Building a 3D printed Full Scale T-800 Terminator Endoskeleton - Episode 2

Writer's picture: Kim KristensenKim Kristensen

It's been around three weeks since I posted my first project video for the Terminator model. And luckily I have managed to make a lot of progress on the project since then. First of all I managed to finish the support for the model so it can stand safely on it's own. And secondly I actually figured out how to create a smoothe surface on the rough PLA prints so I could achive a nice finish with the chrome paint.

I have also made the second episode of the video, and uploaded it to youtube. Personally I think this video is much better than the first one, but there are still room for a bit of improvement :) If you haven't seen the video yet you should check it out :)

It was actually really fun painting this terminator skull, I am so impressed with the Alclad II Chrome paint.

The next video will feature more work on the eletrical parts and I have to clean and paint the rest of the endoskeleton. It looks like the display base is the last thing I'm going to make.
