I painted this model in the beginning of November but as I have been very busy the last couple of days I haven't been able to make any new material for the blog :(
Tomorrow I have some time to paint on my latest painting contest entry, so you can expect a great update (hopefully, I might fail miserably as I am trying a new painting technique) :)
Well anyway, meet the Chaos Champion. This model was designed by Francesco A. Pizzo, I got the model through my subscription on patreon: https://www.patreon.com/ghamak/posts
I painted the model using the Scale 75 Colors and topping it off with the inktensity paints to really bring the sharp colors to life. This was the first time I used these "effect" paints and I was really impressed. The blue and red really stood out when the paint was dry. I'll be making a review of these paints very soon.
I used an old resin base from Microart studios and upgraded it a bit with some foliage and earth pigment colors. I'm very satisfied with this model.
Here's a picture of the model in the 3D printed version assembled. The model was printed on a standard Anycubic photon in transparant resin. This printer never cease to impress me.
Pictures of resin models usually doesn't show off the details very well. The model need a coat of primer, but then it will also be very clear how good the print actually looks.
