The last couple of months I have been doing a bit in diorama building. Through this work I have discovered that 3d printers are a perfect tool for this kind of work. I generally build the base of the diorama with foam and filler. After this I add the details. I use my ender 3 pro for buildings and some of the special features. and then I use my Anycubic Photon for models and details.
My latest project is this winter diorama which I made for "Artisan Guilds March Painting Contest". I really hope that you all like it. I'm really proud of this diorama, the snow effect looks really realistic and the vegetation, the rock and the icy water really brings it all together. The miniatures are all from Artisan Guild's Oathbreaker release and they look so alive, really love them.
The building is from Printable Scenery and I think that it looks really great incorporated in a winter theme. There are some small winter fox'es hiding throughout the diorama, they are free models from thingiverse.
I kept the SFX low with this diorama. There are mounted 4 flickering LED's inside the house, this looks really great when you look at the model in low light and medium light, but it was really difficult getting some nice pictures of it :)
I was working under a lot of time pressure this time as I unfortunately was sick most of this month :( But it turned out great and I learned a lot through the process.
Please check it out, and thanks for watching
