Welcome to part 2 of my December painting contest entry project. So far I have managed to prime both the scrap golem and the goblin on top. I have decided to paint the model in an old dry wood, this an process which is painted over 8 steps and in one of the steps the model need to dry for some time (especially because of the size). So I stopped there today and left the model, I'll resume the work on Wednesday as we have board game day with some friends tomorrow,

I have also made some progress on the goblin. I'm using a whole new technique and new type of paints so I am really looking forward to the result myself. So far I have started with the skin and I have reached 2 out of 6 steps in completing it.

I plan on making the model in a steampunk theme with lots of copper, I will use real metal paints for this model and then weather it accordingly.
My plans for the base is not overly ambitious but I think it will suit the model. I will add some lesser water effects and then I will print some giant mushrooms for decoration,
