That's it, time for my second artisan painting contest. This time they released a awesome lot of goblin models and there was given an option to paint one of the two larger models in the bunch. I chose to do the scrap golem.
Today I finished curing the resin and assembled the model, I'm not quite sure which goblin I will have on top so the one I have on the picture is just temporary (just stuck it in place with some green stuff).

The model was printed on my anycubic photon and it took three build plates for this massive beast. Due to work I could only reach to print a single plate a day so couldn't get the parts ready until today. To save printing material I hollowed the print. The base was printed on one of my ender 3 pro's. Total print time around 20 hours for all parts (including the base).

The model is assembled with green stuff and super glue and the base has been painted with a coat of varnish to soften the layer lines.

When the glue and varnish is dry I'll give it a nice black undercoat and start painting the models. Really looking forward to this challenge even though I might get a bit stressed. This is not the month where I have the most time :)
Look out for part two, I'll post it as soon as I get some paint on this beast.
