This is the first time I make a post about my Flames of War project. I have actually been working a bit on and off on an American and a German army for a couple of months and currently I have painted everything in the "Hit the beach" Flames of war starter set (I'll post some pictures later).
After I finished this pack I accidentally bought a German and an American army deal (Please don't tell my wife).
So far I have assembled all the Germans and I'm working on the Americans. When I started buying these FOW models I decided that it was completely illegal to buy new models before I had painted the ones I have. So far I have almost been true to this decision. I got a set of guns for my birthday, but as I didn't buy them myself I'll say they don't count. I might have printed 4 king tigers on one of the 3D printers but I did not buy them so my conscious is clean.
Anyway I'm making real progress and I have painted and assembled so much this weekend.

Beginning with the American army deal. I used most of Friday watching three really bad movies while I assembled these.

The Germans are lined up for a massive painting project. A bit boring to paint this way but very effective. I used the colors from Scale 75 for all my FOW models and I am really satisfied with the result. I actually managed to paint all the base color and the camouflage on all these models. Now I only need to apply decals and effects (the fun part). I'll make a guide on how to paint these tanks when I finish the project.

Well that's it for this weekend.
